Chinooks - Training and Exercise Needs
Chinooks are utility dogs. They are used in a variety of activities and need much training. It is true that the breed is very intelligent. However, obedience training should be started at an early age. The dog's abilities will open up to the fullest on the condition it takes part in canine sports. Therefore, the breed is not recommended for people who cannot devote much time to the dog.
On the other hand, the Chinook dog does not need specialized care. The dog sheds twice a year, which can be managed with regular brushing. As for living conditions, the Chinook dog will do OK with a yard. The dog is quiet inside and does well with a few walks a day. Exercise needs are medium.
